AuraUp ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
- Email address (for account creation and login)
- Display name (chosen by you or your parent)
- Age or date of birth (to identify child accounts)
- Photos (submitted as proof of chore completion)
- Family membership data (which family you belong to and your role)
2. How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate your identity
- Associate you with your family
- Display chore assignments and Want progress
- Store and display chore completion photos within your family
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with encryption at rest and in transit. Chore completion photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access restricted to your family members, and are deleted after a parent approves the submission.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is only visible to members of your family within the App.
5. Children's Privacy
Child accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's data at any time by managing the family account.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data will be removed. Chore completion photos are not retained after approval.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls.
8. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
